STUDENTS AND STAFF OF IIFT CELEBRATE SPECTRUM WEEK DURING SEPTEMBER EVERY YEAR.
HAVE A LOOK AT WHAT SPECTRUM WEEK IS ALL ABOUT!!

We are blessed to be living in the era where people have understood the power of colors and their affect on human life. Colors have been used for healing purpose since ages. They play a major role in setting up our mood, emotions, feelings and state of mind.

Colors put happiness and liveliness to a person’s life. The type of color combinations that we choose for ourselves reflects our inner self. The impact of colors on our life and day to day activities is just incredible and may be that is why there is a whole field of Psychology that’s dedicated to study of colors and their effects on us.

Every year we celebrate these colors during the spectrum week. Let’s have a look at what we did last year for the Spectrum Week.

Color of the Day: White

White suggests goodness, purity and innocence. The individual who choose white as a favorite color-seeks excellence and enlightenment in all philosophies. Just as black is total absorption, white is total reflection. Visually, white gives a heightened perception of space. The negative effect of white on warm colors is to make-them look and feel garish.

White often represents innocence, purity, and new beginnings.

This activity helped our students to know their social responsibility towards education and cleanliness. This activity was recognized and appreciated by the NGO and school staff.
