IIFT Students Bagged Prizes at Dazzling Design Competition
IIFT student Shazmi Maddas won first prize & Habeebulla bagged second runner up in Dazzling Design competition held on 30th September,2017 at hotel Taj Vivanta.
Geetha Kumarii and Habeebulla Kovuru, B.Sc in Fashion and Apparel Design students of Indian Institute of Fashion Technology, participated and bagged the 1st Place in Psy Fashion Fest “DESIGNER PARADISE” - The biggest festival of students designing for Super Models on 25th of March, held at Indiranagar Club, Bangalore. Out of 15 top Fashion colleges which participated from Bangalore and Chennai, IIFT Bangalore were the winners of the show. The theme of IIFT students Habeebulla Kovuru and Geetha Kumari was “PANDA”. They had chosen this particular theme to build awareness about putting an end to Racism.
IIFT Students Visit Paris
Every year, Some selected students get to visit the Fashion Capital - Paris - for a month where they gain exposure of the fashion industry at its core and gain experience about the International Markets, Trends & Designs.
The students visiting Paris get to experience the backstage processes of the fashion show held during Feb-March every year.
